Things I love about being a Professional Dog Photographer in London and the UK.

It’s a profession I may never have envisaged I would become so obsessed with however, being a professional dog photographer in London and beyond has changed my life.

Clients Becoming Friends

Creating friendships doing what I love is one of the things I cherish most. The nature of my work as a professional dog photographer allows me to share some truly special moments with you.  One-of-a-kind memories that you want to immortalise with your family dog, capturing life stages of your beloved companion or announcing a special occasion. It is through sharing intimate moments like these on owner and dog photoshoots that many who I have been lucky to work with have since become valued friends.

Discovering Hidden Gems

As a professional pet photographer in London, my passion extends beyond capturing precious moments between you, as an owner and that of your pup.  I find immense joy in exploring the city, seeking out extraordinary locations that perfectly complement each pup's distinct personality.

Between photoshoots, I dedicate much of my time to unearthing hidden gems that will elevate your dog's portraits to new heights. Have you ever experienced the magic of strolling through London's streets at dawn? With an open mind, taking in the serenity and stillness of the early hours, London has shared some of it’s truly unique backdrops that would enhance the beauty of any canine that steps forth.

Dog Event Photography

It’s a far cry from a sunrise park photoshoot but being involved with the London Dog Community and capturing dog event photography is really quite unique.  It’s not uncommon for me to photograph upward of 400 pups at some events. That’s 400 of the cutest, floofiest, most individual beans I could ever wish to meet.  Whilst it can sometimes be a challenge, I will always offer butt scratches to them all in equal measures.  What is there not to love about doing this job!?

Overcoming Obstacles

Because lets face it, as much as I love working with impeccably trained models, it is most certainly not always the case. One of the most rewarding parts of being a dog photographer is seeing your reaction to photos you may have never believed possible.  Very often I’ll be asked to photograph nervous pups, those who haven’t had the best start in life or someone that is a little more complex than some.  Learning their story and then being asked to give them their very own doggy photoshoot is incredibly humbling, and something I am grateful for daily.
