I am incredibly grateful that so many of the beloved dogs and wonderful people I photograph return to me again, sometimes across several years and many different chapters of their lives. We met Andrew quite by chance. Having admired his beautiful photos on social media, we managed to book our first shoot just after lockdown restrictions eased — and we haven’t looked back since. My only regret is not doing more sessions while we still had Darcy with us. The photos Andrew captured of her are some of my most treasured keepsakes. They hold memories I’ll forever be grateful for. Since then, I’ve wanted to capture as many moments as possible with George and Lulu. And somehow, with every session, Andrew still manages to surprise me. He has an incredible gift for capturing their personalities, the little glances, and the quiet moments that matter most. We can't thank Andrew enough for taking such beautiful shots of our Molly. She's a rescue so finds it very hard to trust humans she's only just met and is very cautious of new environments. Andrew's calm nature helped soothe her nervousness straightaway by taking the time to get to her level, gradually getting her to take treats from him and letting her get used to the environment and equipment. After a short period of chatting on the floor with Andrew while feeding Molly treats she was more than happy to sit and pose for Andrew without any worries. So much so that by the end she actually fell asleep on set! We will forever cherish these shots of our Mollys and have already highly recommended Andrew to our family and friends.

This photoshoot was an incredibly special and unforgettable bucket list experience with my dog.
I have followed Andrew’s photography account on Instagram (@andrewraven_) for over a year and have always admired his work. He captures dogs in a way that is truly amazing. His unique style highlights each dog’s character and quirks, all set against the stunning backdrop of London’s landmarks.

“He just knew how to engage her.”
Andrew is absolutely brilliant at what he does - I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough.
My greyhound and I have had 2 photo-shoots with him (so far...!) and I’ve been blown away with the results both times. You can see for yourself how amazing his photos are, so I also want to mention how good he is to work with.
Greyhounds are not the most “obedient” dogs, and aren’t very motivated to do most things ... so I went to our first shoot with low expectations, thinking Andrew might not be able to get any decent shots of her (because I thought nobody could!).
However, he was incredibly patient and his manner with Georgia was so lovely. He just knew how to engage her. In the end she had such fun, and we got multiple beautiful photos to show for it. I always request a few shots with me in them too - it’s rare I get a photo of both of us. Andrew is just as good at getting a flattering photo of me as he is at getting one of Georgia! And I feel like he really captures our bond. I will definitely go to him again.
If you’re considering booking with Andrew, do it!

The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant, communication with Andrew before the shoot date was really good.
The time flew by as he was so chatty and immediately bonded with our dog which made him relaxed and in turn made us feel relaxed to also enjoy the shoot.
Overall a memorable day topped off with some fantastic images. Would highly recommend.

“I just love the drama and the colours of his photos.”
I would definitely recommend Andrew and Rave Imagery. I came across his work in one of the FB dog group I’m in and just love the drama and the colours of his photos. I compared it to other photographers and Andrew’s are definitely a stand out. Whilst some photographer’s work are bit toned down for my taste, I like Andrew’s works which looks dramatic and would not be out of place in a glossy dog magazine cover. My experience in arranging the session, the location and the photoshoot itself was such a delight and I am so pleased with it. As one of our dogs is getting older, we thought of doing this and it’s definitely a very positive and memorable experience.
Thanks a lot Andrew for your art, now we have something to treasure with our two dogs and something that will remind us of that moment years from now.

“Our dogs love him. He definitely has a way with dogs.”
We have worked with Andrew a couple of times and he is just amazing at what he does! He is extremely patient and calm, our dogs love him! He definitely has a way with dogs and you can tell he truly loves them. His photos are simply beautiful. You couldn’t really ask for a better experience during the photo shoot or more stunning results afterwards. We’ve worked with him in his studio and on location, both are fabulous. Do yourself a favour and book! He’s just magic behind the lens.

We have had Andrew take our pups photographs a few times and can honestly say he is wonderful! He puts the dogs and us owners at ease, plans the shoots in advance so he knows how to make it an easy shoot for the dogs involved (even our naughty teenage puppy did very well despite having next to no impulse control!) and Andrew’s photos are magical. You can see the love and talent that is poured into every image. We highly recommend Andrew.

We have now done two individualized Christmas themed photoshoots in London with Andrew as well as a couple more at different events over the years.
He is always so patient with our rescue dog, Biscotti, letting him do his thing whilst capturing the perfect photos at the perfect moments. He is always considerate of what works best for the human and the dog. Watching him work his magic at the time of the shoot and also after editing is always amazing and he has never failed to put a smile on our faces! We look forward to seeing Andrew again in the new year to make more beautiful memories.

He is also super respectful of the humans' wishes (in case you would prefer to be fully in the photos, fully out of the photos, or in the photo in a subtle way where your pup is the star as he or she should be!).

“We had the best time shooting with Andrew.”
We booked Gizmo’s first ever shoot with Andrew back in December, and of course it had to be Andrew’s beautiful Christmas shoot.
He was a dream to work with, was clear with instructions for us (given we are novices in front of camera), was super patient, chose all the iconic backdrop to photos and, as a result captured so many beautiful shots.
We had THE best time shooting with Andrew and the only difficult part of it all was to narrow down the number of photos we want in our Christmas album. All the shots were superb!
Highly recommend Andrew, he’s a true professional and just the nicest person I know. We will always have Andrew in mind for photoshoot.
